10 Ingredients that Naturally Improve the Function of Your Nerves

If you’re experiencing any of the following…

  • Sharp, stabbing pains in the hands or feet
  • Burning, itching sensations
  • Tingling sensations or numbness
  • Loss of balance

…it’s a sign that your nerves aren’t functioning properly.

Which means they’ve most likely been damaged.

This damage, also known as neuropathy, causes your nerves to misfire – resulting in the symptoms listed above.

Most doctor’s will tell you there’s nothing you can do besides take a prescription painkiller for the rest of your life to keep the pain tolerable.

I disagree.

With proper regenerative medicine, your nerves CAN repair themselves.

I know this because studies have proven it…

…and because in my 35 years as a geriatric physician I’ve seen patients:

  • Regain feeling in their hands and feet
  • Reduce and sometimes even ELIMINATE nerve related pain
  • Walk again without a cane (after years of having to use one because of neuropathy in their feet)

How is this possible?

It’s all about fueling your body with vitamins and nutrients your nerves NEED to actually heal.

You see, while painkillers can help take the edge off – they don’t do anything to actually fix the CAUSE of your pain.

So you’re stuck taking them for the rest of your life (if they even work in the first place).

…if you fuel your nerve cells with the right vitamins and nutrients, it is possible for them regenerate and heal.

What vitamins and nutrients should you be taking for nerve damage?

Below are the 10 nutrients I recommend you start taking if you're suffering from any of the symptoms listed above.

They WILL improve your nerve function.

And frankly, most people aren’t getting enough of these through their diet to tip the scales in their favor.

Which is why I tell all of my neuropathy patients to take them in supplement form IN ADDITION to getting more of them through proper diet.

Here they are…

Vitamin B12 (as methylcobalamin)

Every nerve in your body is protected by a thin layer of fat called the Myelin Sheath.

It protects them from damage that can cause the nerves to misfire (which is what causes your pain, tingling, numbness, etc).

Vitamin B12 is the most important nutrient for maintaining this protective sheath…and repairing it when it is damaged.

So if you’ve got nerve damage, this is the number one place to start.

But there are a lot of B12 supplements out there – and not all of them are created equally.

There are two types of vitamin B12: methylcobalamin (methyl B12) and cyanocobalamin.

I know, they’re both a mouthful!

Cyanocobalamin is a man-made form of B12.

It’s cheaper to produce, which is why it’s the most common form you’ll find in B12 supplements at your grocery store or online.

But every study that has shown B12 can help regenerate damage nerves uses methylcobalamin (methyl B12).

Methyl B12 is the NATURALLY occurring form of vitamin B12.

And according to a study in the Journal of Neurological Science, ultra-high doses of this form of B12 produce nerve regeneration in patients with nerve damage.

So – if you want to repair your damaged nerves, Methyl B12 is the clear winner.

Here are a few studies to back that up:

Vitamin B1, B2, and B6

All B vitamins are essential for healthy nerve function.

They work together to perform a variety of different functions.

Which is why it’s important you’re getting enough of each one.

That’s why I recommend finding a supplement that uses all forms of this nerve-boosting vitamin.

But there’s one important thing to keep in mind…

…and that is that TOO MUCH Vitamin B6 can actually be detrimental to your nerves.

Even as few as 100mg of B6 per day can have detrimental effects, so be sure not to exceed that amount.

R-Alpha Lipoic Acid

Alpha Lipoic Acid is one of THE most popular things to help with nerve damage.

And with good reason!

Studies by the Mayo Clinic show that it significantly reduces neuropathy related symptoms.

And that includes:

  • Burning
  • Pain
  • Numbness
  • Tingling
  • Loss of Balance

Personally, I think it’s a no-brainer to start taking it if you have nerve damage.

You need to make sure you’re getting the right KIND of Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA).

Because the 2 most common types don’t have the same benefits of the kind that the Mayo Clinic used.

The 3 types of Alpha Lipoic Acid are: S-ALA, R-ALA, and RS-ALA.

R-ALA is the pure, natural form of ALA – and the type I RECOMMEND.

S-ALA is a synthetic version – and is not as effective. RS-ALA is a 50/50 mix of the pure and synthetic form.

Here’s a graphic that shows the differences between each form:

Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol)

Multiple studies have shown that vitamin D3 supplementation helps SIGNIFICANTLY reduce the symptoms of neuropathy.

This is especially true in diabetic neuropathy patients.

One reason vitamin D is so important is that it is needed to help your central nervous system function properly.

While you can get vitamin D naturally through sunlight exposure, you may want to consider taking a daily vitamin D3 supplement as well.

Feverfew Extract

Something that makes nerve pain even WORSE is your body’s natural response to the pain.

Your body’s response to injury is inflammation.

Inflammation tells your immune system that something’s wrong…so that it can heal the damaged tissue as well as protect itself from viruses and bacteria.

But when your nerves are constantly misfiring, it triggers this response over and over and over again.

This is called chronic inflammation…and it’s a serious problem for many neuropathy sufferers.

What’s worse, the inflammation itself aggravates your nerves and can cause them to misfire more often.

That’s where feverfew extract can help.

It breaks this vicious cycle by preventing the body from releasing inflammatory chemicals in response to nerve pain.

As your inflammation is reduced, so too is the frequency of those “misfires” that are causing your nerve pain.

Oat Straw Extract

If you’re dealing with itching or burning skin as a result of nerve damage, oat straw extract can help.

It has been shown to help sooth itchy, burning skin.

It also improves blood flow and boosts brain function in older adults.

Some studies suggest it may also reduce inflammation and have mood-boosting benefits.

Skullcap Root Extract

Skullcap is a powerful herb that has the ability to relieve nerve pain.

It’s safe and non-addictive…

…and most importantly, it works.

And like feverfew, it also helps reduce inflammation while also relieving nerve pain.

Passion Flower Extract

When you’re dealing with damage nerves, your nervous system can easily become overstimulated.

This over-stimulation results in your nerves constantly firing off signals…which causes your symptoms to flare-up.

Passion Flower is a powerful herb that calms your nervous system down.

It is often used to reduce anxiety and improve sleep, but it has proven very effective for nerve pain sufferers in recent years.

Each of the vitamins and nutrients listed above can have a profound impact on your quality of life.

When taken all together, they give your nerves their best shot at recovery.

Which means less pain, less tingling, regaining feeling in your hands and feet, and more.

That’s why we combined all of them into one easy to take formula, Nerve Renew.

For most people, even just taking one or two of these ingredients will make a noticeable difference.

But when you take all of them, your chances of reducing or even eliminating your symptoms goes way up.

In fact, 80% of our customers who take Nerve Renew every day for at least 4 months report significant reductions in:

  • Pins and needles pain
  • Burning
  • Itching
  • Tingling
  • Numbness

Whether you get them through our Nerve Renew formula or by purchasing each ingredient individually on your own isn’t as important as just doing it.

Just taking that first step to develop the habit of taking these things EVERY DAY is a major step in the right direction.

Because many people WON’T take that first step.

Either because they’ve been told by their doctor that there’s nothing they can do…

…or because they don’t believe it will help.

But the proof is in the pudding.

I’ve seen it with my patients. I’ve read about it in the studies. And I’ve heard it from customers who took Nerve Renew after exhausting all other options.

You can watch a few of their stories here.

  • I have had neuropathy for several years but, with no pain…………..numbness and tingling feet…….Have tried many many different products including yours and stem cell injection…….What can I do ? Is there anything that will help ? Oh yeah, balance is a problem.
Am tired of sending snake oil products back for refunds…

  • I have tried all your products and some from other providers. Your article is interesting, but over a period of several years, I have not found anything that helped other than the prescription drug Zopiclone. I am now taking B12, but I will need to change to the Methyl B12 rather than the Cyan type. Alpha lipoic acid has not helped. I am currently taking PXP purple rice, but it does not seem to be helping. I am almost at the stage of giving up my peripheral neuropathy, which I have had for 12 years.

  • You don’t state the mg for each 10 Ingredients or how many you take each day or when it is better take each day. I have been taking B6 1000 mgs and Alpha Lipoic Acid 600mgs, not sure which B12 I am taking. Is this why I have not improved, since I have taking them a couple month. In fact, my balance seems worse & all of sudden my knees are giving me problems when I walk. I have Pheranal Neuropathy

  • I have been taking nerve renew and optimizer for at least two years now with improvement in the tingling, pressure and pain aspects but not on balance issues. I just started taking the NO2 optimizer to get better circulation and nutrient delivery to my feet. What else can I do for balance problems?
