Facebook Live Q&A Recap
In this Facebook Live with Dr. Kennedy, he shared with us his thoughts on ways to kickstart nerve regeneration and reduce the occasional discomfort from unhealthy nerves, without prescriptions. He focused on three alternative modalities you can add into your treatment plan. Some of these he’s touched on before and the science behind all of them have guided the products we’ve chosen to bring to our customers.
You can watch the full video below, or read on to catch the recap on these "non-supplement" solutions.
- TENS Device
The full name of this is transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation — but it goes by TENS unit for short.
In a nutshell, a device the size of an iPad Mini sends low-level shocks into your hands or feet.
These shocks help “turn off” certain signals being sent to your brain. So you don’t feel as much of the occasional burning, tingling, or discomfort of unhealthy nerves. Simultaneously, it supports healthy blood flow, stimulating and waking up your nerves.
If you’d like to read more about it, here’s where you can do that.
- Massage/Compression Boots
This is a “boot” you wear on your feet.
It fills up with air and then “massages” your feet while you sit.
This does two things: flush your lymphatic system (so toxic waste) sitting in your feet...
And circulating stale blood that may be pooling down in the feet.
Both of these can help reduce the occasional swelling and discomfort and help get those nerve-boosting nutrients where they’re needed most.
Here’s the one Dr. Kennedy helped us develop.
- Infrared Light Therapy
Tiny, infrared lights stimulate nerve cells and tell them to “grow”.
It sounds like science fiction. Which makes sense, because this technology was originally developed by NASA to grow plants in space.
When they brought the technology home…
Scientists realized red-light could also stimulate cell growth in humans — including the nerve cells in the hands and feet.
It’s pretty amazing.
And they now make “slippers” with this technology that you wear on each foot for 5-10 minutes a day.
You can use it, reduce your occasional discomfort, grow new cells, all while watching the evening news.
With Dr. Kennedy’s help, we developed a slipper with exactly the right kind of red and infrared lights that target nerve cells. You can see the science for yourself here.
Hopefully, one of these prescription-free “breakthroughs” can be part of the answer for your nerves.
And if they are?
Then let us know in the comments which one works for you.
