Though nerve discomfort can affect the entire body, it often manifests itself in the hands or feet. Addressing this discomfort will likely take a multi-prong approach, one of which should be movement. Simple exercises can help activate these nerves, helping them improve and return to normal function.
Try this simple hand exercise to help improve and maintain your dexterity. Even if you’re not experiencing discomfort in your hand, this is a great exercise for the general health of your hands.
Circular Finger Touch
Touch the tip of each finger to the tip of your thumb (forming a circle between the fingers). Begin with your index finger and rotate through to your pinky. After each rotation, stretch the hand wide open, then repeat.
Repeat 10 times.
